Hey there! Thanks for coming by. I’m Bevan.

I have a clear vision for what I want to accomplish as a creative and a leader. I value compassion, wisdom and boldness. I’m focused on cultivating healthy inclusive creative cultures with DEI at the core. Mostly, I’m interested in hearing what you have to say. What are your goals, what’s your opinion on this? How does this make you feel? This approach is what makes me exceptional at new business, at leading teams and at being a better creative.

I’m always learning but I came to win. I like to work closely with strategy because insights are everything and when they are good, they electrify creative. I’ve spent a long time developing my voice and now I’m committed to using it for the things I value. I value people with untold stories.

Before advertising, I worked in comedy, at Late Night with Conan O’Brien, at Saturday Night Live and I performed improv at the Upright Citizen's Brigade in NYC. I’m a founding member of the long-form improv troupe at my alma mater, Washington University in St. Louis where I studied Psychology, Philosophy and Neuroscience. Improv taught me how to “yes and” and listen first. To commit to the scene and lift others. The comedy, the great creative, it’s all a byproduct of culture, of relationships. Focus on culture first and the award-winning work will come.

Many years ago I started a hand-painted shoe company called “bevans shoes” where I painted pairs for fabulous females including Anne Hathaway, Carolina Herrera and Ricky Lauren. My love of painting gives me perspective into art direction though my focus is on writing.

Most recently, I became a mom to a powerful gravitational force of a girl. Her name is Joan. Together with my partner Nick, we are raising her to know and believe in herself.
